GO WILD GO! Wild men head to Nelson on Friday November 2nd to challenge LVR for the provincial berth. It has been a very long time since Mount Baker earned the right to represent the Kootenays at the high school provincials. Coach Oddy feels he has the team this year! Best of luck guys! Mount Baker Wild Men's Soccer will be having a 5 team tournament October 19-20, 2007 at the Baker Oval. Teams from Invermere, Kimberley, Creston, and Nelson. The Wild take to the field on Friday at 10:00 a.m. challenging the Storm from Kimberley. A big shout out to your Wild Boy's Soccer Team! On October 10th the Wild travelled to David Thompson in Invermere and defeated the Lakers 5-1. On Friday October 12th Stillwater Christian from Kalispell visited MBSS and dealt the Wild their first loss of the year 1-0. LET'S GET WILD! On Thursday, October 4th at 4:30 pm the Wild Men's Soccer Team, down a few players due to a curricular field trip, braved the traditional fall weather and hosted Selkirk Secondary from Kimberley. This was their second meeting of the year and the Wild once again defeated the Storm, this time 3-0. Go Wild Go! The Wild opened their season attending a tournament in Creston on the last weekend in September. The Wild defeated the host Coments 3-2 in their opening match, followed by a 6-0 victory over Selkirk Secondary and closing the tournament with a draw with Mt. Sentinel. |
